Born from the couple Michael Adenauer, the second pillar of old-money "Adenauer" family, he was an architect and urban planning expert and Helen Winata, a chemical engineering lecturer at ITB. Amara is the eldest of three children in the Adenauer family.Amara was born into a world of privilege and expectation. Hailed as a child prodigy, she excelled in piano, tennis, fencing, taekwondo, and ballet with ease. Raised in a family where her father's lineage boasted old money in Bandung, her mother's frugality cast a shadow over their lifestyle, leaving Amara's life controlled.Since childhood, Amara lived in a situation where her biological circumstances were concealed. However, when puberty arrived, confusion and disturbance emerged. She realized her attraction to women rather than men. Meanwhile, her body developed, with her masculine side appearing more dominant, shocking the extended family. Her presence was questioned, triggering chaos. Her mother considered her a sin, a disgrace to the family and often became a victim of her mother's abuse. Her mother took her to undergo conversion therapy by the church, so Amara would confess her sin and solely to cure her and tried to take her to a specialist for gender reassignment surgery, but failed. All of this bred deep-seated hatred and fear in Amara towards her family, leading her to leave home at the age of 17. She didn't even get a chance to bid farewell to her father, who passed away in 2013.
